Racism

There was a girl named jyoti she was very talented and beautiful her father named Jyoti after his dead wife. 

Jyoti was perfectionist in every way but there was one thing that separate her from the rest of her cousins. 

Her skin color was too dark and her cousins were having a fair complexion and that made her always bullied by her cousins and in the school. 

She was lucky as other than people who's mean to her, 

Her father always supported her and loved her. 

Once in her 16th birthday her father throw a party for her friends and family in a restaurant and she was asked to come little late as it was her birthday. 

When she arrived at the venue and was about to enter she was stopped by the guards and when she asked the guard they said she was too dark and her clothes were like beggars. 

While hearing that she broke down and her tears rolled down she tried to explain how her clothes got dirty but she wasn't able to speak up. 

Later when Jyoti was not arriving for the party her father called her and asked her where she was and when her father didn't got any response he came out better connection but when he saw Jyoti sitting down outside of the restaurant with torn dress he came running towards her and when the father asked she cried so much and blamed herself for being too dark and she ran away from there and went to her house and started packing her bags and ran away later when her father came home and saw jyoti's room in complete mess he knew that Jyoti left her house. 

Her father searched her everywhere but he couldn't find her. And like this days turned into weeks than months and years went by and 10 years pasted and one day there was a knock on Jyoti's father's home. 

When her father went and unlocked the door he saw a beautiful young lady on her middle 20s and the girl called Jyoti's father as Dad and then he broke down and recognized the young lady was his Juoti they both hug and he welcomed Jyoti and then he was sad that he couldn't protect his daughter but Jyoti said that she was grateful as he was her father and mother both. 

Her cousins were also shocked but still taunted her but jyoti didn't replied back and she just smiled back at them. Then Jyoti's father asked her why did she left and where were she so many years. 

Then Jyoti replied she was doing well and she was missing her father so much but she was determined to do something then she said she was called here as she was the new collector of the village and everyone was shocked and thought she was joking around. 

Then when the guards came and addressed her as collector ma'am everyone in the whole house was speechless then she took her father's hand and took him outside and people of the village were always shocked to know the truth then she said to all the people that her complexion was nothing it was the mind of people who polluted her mind and let her ran away from her family. That the society made her so sick of herself and she didn't loved herself and listened to others trying to make everyone happy and she wasn't good for other's how much she does only her father was there for her in every way possible. 

After telling this the whole village understood and apologized her cousin's too apologized and then everything was over.
